Morning folks, I hope you had a lovely Saturday, a lot of mine was spent tidying and cleaning...and then making a mess again crafting lol! I start each project with all the best intentions of being neat and tidy, and putting stuff away after each use......but then it all falls to pieces hehe.
Yesterday I made another Christmas card but the light was bad by the time I was finished so I'm sharing it today.
I had an un-inked Tilda I've been trying to find the time to use and a couple of the challenges I follow are Christmas ones this week so she's finally got her chance to be used.
The image is Tilda with Chistmas Fir and I had just the papers I wanted to use with her. These are Pion Design - Wintertime in Swedish Lapland....just perfect with this stamp. The papers have all been distressed and inked with Chipped Sapphire DI, then stitched.
I used the Heart Snowflake Die from La La Land Crafts and a Spellbinders circle die and some cheesecloth. The roses, rosebuds, cosmos daisies and sweetheart blossoms along with the pearl brad are from Wild Orchid Crafts, and the beautiful lace, cheesecloth, charm and the rest of the flowers are from The Ribbon Girl. I coloured the small pearls to match except for the one on the snowflake which I left white to help it stand out.
I coloured Tilda to match with my Copics like I usually do, colours are:
Skin : E000, 00, 21, 11, R20
Hair : E53, 55, 17, 19
Clothes : B93, 95, 97, 99, W0, 2
I used a white souffle pen on the fur trim for a little texture (must get myself something like Snowtex) and some liquid pearls covered with glamour dust for texture and sparkle on the tree.
The inside is decorated to complement the outside and I stamped a lovely snowflake framed Christmas message there, I really can't remember where that stamp was from now, it was one of the first I bought, before I even began using images on cards.
A shot showing the flowers and all the layers. I gave the snowflakes and the edges of the paper a light coating of Crystal Stickles and all the flowers were dipped in glue and Glamour Dust for that frosty look.
A close of of the flowers from a different angle, I added a pearl to the centre of the daisy. Love the frosted effect adding glitter to the flowers gives, really makes cards seem wintery.
*This card has now been sold*
I'm entering this card for the following challenges:
Fashionista Challenge # 19 Christmas

Well that's it from me, if I finish another card today I expect it won't be shared until tomorrow due to the light unless I'm incredibly speedy, which isn't like me lol.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend whether you're crafting, relaxing or catching up and I'll be here with you again soon :) xx
